Sponsored by:
The Spokane Club
1002 W. Riverside Ave
Spokane, WA 99201
Brought to you by The Family Guide: a 501- C(3) Organization

9 am - 4 pm: Successfull Fundraising Seminar
4 pm - 6 pm: Non-profit Fundraising Resource Fair & Social

A special event requires planning and is a team effort. When creating events for non-profit organizations, two important purposes are almost always the driving reason behind the event. Events help to raise awareness of the organization and its mission.

Most non-profits struggle to keep their name in the public eye without seeming too needy. The same event usually doubles as a fundraiser for the non-profit organization and raise community awareness about your programs and services.

Cast off those worn out fundraising event ideas for a slew of fresh possibilities; be unique and create a signature FUNraising event that is distinct for your organization. The challenge is making the event fabulous, obtaining free or discounted resources, staying within the budget, and making the event goal at the end of the day.

Speakers includes representatives from the Washington State Gambling Commission, Washington State Liquor Board, Spokane Fire Department, Spokane Police Department and Spokane Neighborhood Services.

Learn how to create a successful and profitable occasion, by using the same basic approach no matter what the occasion.

The seminar will include:
Catered Lunch & Beverage Service
Event Planning Book (1 per organization)
150+ Great Fundraising Ideas book by author Kelly Elkins
(1 per organization)
Updated Media Contact List
Updated Venue & Event Planning Resource List
Resource Fair featuring fundraising ideas & services.
