Vintage Spokane Brings Fabulous Food, Wine To Lilac City
Over
50 wineries, a dozen local restaurants expected to fill Spokane's
Lincoln Center for a night of food, wine and fun to benefit local
charity
SPOKANE The Northwest's leading wineries and Spokane's top restaurants are
lining up to be a part of the inaugural Vintage Spokane, the area's
newest wine and food event, coming to the Lincoln Center on June 5.

Vintage
Spokane: A Food and Wine Affair, will highlight the award-winning and
up-and-coming restaurants and wineries throughout the Northwest, each
offering samples of their incredible fare. For no more than the cost of
their ticket, attendees will have the chance to sip wines from over 50
of the regions most celebrated wineries, and sample delicious culinary
options from more than a dozen top local restaurants.
A portion of the events proceeds will go to benefit the Hospice of Spokane.
Event
producers Varsity Communications, who also produce the Washington
State Wine Commissions annual Taste Washington event in Seattle, are
bringing that same high-end wine-and-dining experience to Spokane. In
addition to the Seattle event, Varsity also co-produces Taste
Washington: Portland, and were the co-producers of the popular Taste
Washington: Spokane event formerly held at the Davenport Hotel each
year.
With
the success we've had with Taste Washington in Seattle, we're excited
to bring an event like this back to the Spokane area, said Varsity
Communications President Dick Stephens. Few cities in the country have a
community that is as knowledgeable and appreciative of good wine as
Spokane, and the sheer number of incredible wineries and restaurants
that are within a short distance of the city limits are staggering. We
can't wait to put it all on display for Spokane residents to enjoy.
